Da Giorgio is a tiny little hotel just a few steps away from the famous Piazzetta of Capri, the hub of the island's social life. The hotel came in to being at the same time as the Restaurant Da Giorgio, one of Capri's most highly acclaimed eateries, and situated just beneath the hotel.

The pizza was one of the best, we tried the 4 fromage, the Buffalo pizza, the aubergine pizza which was the best for aubergine lovers and the mushrooms pizza. The view and location of the restaurant is amazing

Do Not Stay Here

Incredibly rude staff and throughout the course of our stay starting from the moment we walked in the door, by far the worst I have Hotel experience I have had anywhere in Europe. Do not stay here, the location was good and we had a nice dinner at the restaurant, that is it. Read on for details. • No welcome or hello when we arrived, zero information on the hotel or room. • Breakfast was poor • No AC even though they said there would be via confirmation email. • Fan didn’t work – refused to replace it as it was Sunday, then Monday came around and still no working fan • The balcony Screen to our room was broken when we arrived (did not open and close), the cleaner then proceeded to break it more and blamed it on us, the hotel staff tried to get us to pay for the repairs. The Screen was never repaired and we had to wedge it open to get any form of light or ventilation into the room let alone accessing the balcony….there was no apology from the staff. • Our Room was out of range of the Wi-Fi, so we also had no Wi-Fi I understand Capri is expensive, but this accommodation was not cheap considering the treatment and state of our room. Do not stay here.

Great stay, great locatio

Cute B&B. My husband and I stayed for 4 nights. Located right next to taxi and VERY close to bus as well. This is a family run business and comfy. The rooms are clean and view is beautiful. The hotel rooms are below the restaurant so you will have some stairs to deal with (no elevator). That being said- capri is all about stairs and hills so I assume all places would have similar situations. Enjoy- proprietor and her family are incredibly welcoming. Plan to come back with friends! We discovered this place via the tourism centre in the village of Capri. Barbara was most helpful and let us inspect the room. We were not expecting much for a supposedly one ⭐hotel. Basic room but magnificent view, comfortable bed and serviceable bathroom. By booking direct we got the best rate. Convenient to have a restaurant upstairs which we dined at. Thank you Barbara for a wonderful stay. Great location.
