Excelsior Parco

I stayed at Excelsior Parco Capri, and honestly, I wouldn’t recommend it. Based on the glowing reviews, I expected an upscale boutique hotel — but the reality was far from it. It’s clear the hotel manipulates TripAdvisor reviews because there’s no way this place deserves such high ratings. When we arrived, we were greeted by a bowl of old, tired-looking lemons, and leaves scattered on the floor. The overall atmosphere felt drab and rundown. While the staff were kind and tried their best, the rooms were the biggest disappointment. There was a strong, unpleasant odor, and the bathroom products were cheap — more like what you’d find in a drugstore, not a boutique hotel. From the window, we had a view of cables running across the landscape, which added to the unpleasant vibe. Walking through the halls, we saw open doors revealing piles of dirty laundry — not exactly the luxury experience we were hoping for. Yes, they offer a car service to town, which is convenient, but this isn’t the kind of hotel you want to spend time at. The jacuzzi and pool area weren’t appealing, and the atmosphere lacked any charm or style. The concierge wasn’t particularly helpful either — they gave mediocre recommendations and didn’t seem to have strong connections to secure better experiences for us.( one time they did come through though) I chose this hotel because I was on a budget, but still paid sooo much money for this & I regret it. It’s definitely not the boutique, upscale experience it claims to be — and I believe the manipulated reviews paint a completely false picture.

We had the time of our lives and the entire staff made us feel like we were the only guests! The level of service was the best we’ve ever experienced! Gabriella is so personable and friendly and made great restaurant recommendations! We are forever grateful we found this hotel!!

At this small boutique hotel they went out of their way to help. There were rides to and from the center of town, snack to anticipate your needs, wonderfully decorated rooms, terrific service. They designed our time on the island and directed us with a map. The breakfast was terrific.

I recently had the pleasure of staying for two nights, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The hotel was beautiful and comfortable, but what really made my stay exceptional was the amazing staff. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and a genuine willingness to make my stay as pleasant as possible.
