The bed & breakfast Il Sogno occupies an elegant villa, built according to Capri's long established architectural traditions: with attractive vaulted ceilings, shady porticoes, romantic arches, and sunny terraces overlooking the sea. The rooms are all decorated in classic Mediterranean style, and open out to reveal breathtaking views of the sea surrounding Capri and the coast of Italy's Campania region.
Villa il Sogno is situated just 50 meters from Piazza Vittoria, the heart of Anacapri's picturesque shopping district, in a peaceful residential area populated by some of the most beautiful of Anacapri's houses. These were the villas inhabited by those illustrious visitors whose love of Anacapri and their praise for the clean air, colourful flowers, exquisite perfumes, and striking blue sea, greatly contributed to the town's worldwide fame. Villa il Sogno is surrounded by a garden brimming with a fabulous display of subtropical flowers and plants. In the hottest hours of the day, tall trees offer welcome shade. A delightful venue where to read, converse with a loved one, or simply relax, the garden features a number of secluded corners furnished with tables and comfortable hammocks and chairs.
The bed & breakfast's three, light-filled bedrooms are all located on the first floor of the villa. Each room opens out on to a spacious private terrace from where to enjoy an enchanting view extending out across the sea towards the other islands of the Gulf of Naples, Mount Vesuvius, and the coastline of the Sorrentine peninsula. Rooms are equipped with every comfort, from air conditioning to mini bars complete with complimentary soft drinks, from internet access to LCD televisions.
From the sunny terrace, furnished with comfortable sun loungers, guests have the occasion to enjoy the legendary sunsets of Capri, sunsets which paint the sky over the island with an intense fiery red. A sumptuous buffet breakfast of fresh bread and pastries, organic jams and fruit juices, fresh fruit, cold meats, cheeses, eggs prepared to taste, and traditional Neapolitan coffee is served al fresco.

The bed & breakfast il Sogno is located in Via Vignola 20, in a panoramic residential area close to the center of Anacapri. Just 50 meters away from the bed & breakfast there are bus stops where to catch buses to Capri, Marina Piccola (Faraglioni), and Marina Grande (Port).
After just a ten minute taxi and bus ride and visitors find themselves in Capri's famous Piazzetta. The island's beaches, those of Capri and Anacapri, are all within easy reach. A few meters away from the villa, there are shops, a chemists, the Monte Solaro chair lift, Villa San Michele and the Church of San Michele.
